MY STORY

WHY I WANTED TO BE A HEALTH & WELLNESS COACH

Seeing how exercise transformed my own life inspired me to help change the lives of others as well. I want to provide a safe space where women can express themselves freely without judgement. This is a journey where we not only reach our goals on a physical level, but also elevates our mental well-being also.

  • The story of launching my online coaching was rooted deeply in growing up with social media. I grew up at a very young age using social media and I would scroll on Instagram to find people using apps to change how their body looked. Seeing how women were ‘meant to look’ from the lens of social media was heavily disorienting and made me want to reach that unrealistic body standard. I started working out in 2016 hoping to reach this unobtainable physique through watching YouTube videos of ab workouts and cardio.

    After a few years I realized that the photos I thought were real were edited and that is when I decided I wanted to focus on getting stronger and focus on what I was putting into my body instead. I started educating myself on weightlifting and how it is more effective for building muscle than doing the cardio-based exercises I was originally doing.

    When I first started going to the gym, I didn't want to go to the gym alone because I thought it was scary and I didn’t really know what I was doing at the time. If there was too many people, I would walk the other way and not even go. As time went on, I realized the people at the gym were really supportive and helpful and I slowly built up the courage to go alone.

    After a few years of perfecting my routine and form, I decided to get a personal training certification through ISSA because I wanted to teach others what took me years to learn. Leading up to now in my fitness journey, I not only discovered that confidence within myself, but I also feel comfortable in my own skin. Fitness changed my life and I want other women to feel that positive impact as well.

My goal is to inspire women of all walks of life to make positive lifestyle changes and stick with it. I want to help you unleash your full potential by helping you adhere to your health, fitness, and personal development goals one step at a time.

MY MISSION

My Mission is to create a community where women can feel safe discussing any fitness struggles they might have and building each other up to become the highest versions of ourselves. I am dedicated to inspire and motivate others to achieve what they thought was impossible, ultimately leading to a happier, healthier, and more vibrant life.
